Reliable CPR & Safety

CPR and AED is nationally-recognized and includes Adult, Child and Infant CPR, AED training, and choking procedures. This is typically taught to non-medical professionals, babysitters, non-medical professions, and individuals wanting to promote a safer community  or work place.CPR Pro for Professional Rescuer has been approved by the Continuing Education Coordinating Board for Emergency Medical Services (CECBEMS)* and is accepted by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT). The program has also been approved by many state health agencies and may be used to meet the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organization’s (JCAHO) Resuscitation Standard. This program is intended for healthcare providers, first responders, and professional rescuers in and outside the hospital or for those needing professional-level training as a job requirement. Intended Audience: Firefighters, Police Officers, Lifeguards, EMTs and First Responders.ASHI Basic First Aid program participants learn to recognize the signs and symptoms of injuries and sudden illness. Crucial information about how to deal with emergencies like bleeding, shock, burns, strains, fractures, allergic reaction, diabetic and seizures is shared. Properly applied first aid can save lives, reduce recovery time and quite possibly mean the difference between temporary disability and lifelong disability for the victim.

The Bloodborne Pathogens Awareness program includes information that will help students understand what bloodborne pathogens are and how risks of exposure can be reduced for themselves and others. The program assists in satisfying the training requirements of the U.S. Department of Labor, OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standard.   

The Child And Babysitting Safety program stresses the priority to keep you and the children you care for safe. Babysitting is not just “watching” the children, but being responsible for their safety and well being. When you are caring for a child, you are taking care of a parent(s) most prized possession. Everything in their home and your own home can be replaced— everything, that is, except a child.                                                                                                                                                                                                       

Basic Wilderness First Aid  is an intensive 8- to 10-hour course for those who are involved in  wilderness recreation. This course may also meet the needs of volunteers and professionals who lead groups on short trips in relatively low-risk situations.                                                                  

Wilderness First Aid is a 16- to 20-hour course for those who are involved in serious wilderness activities.This course is the choice of many wilderness trip leaders and guides. (CPR is not included can be done as an add on).

Pet First Aid is the immediate care given to an injured or suddenly ill pet as temporary assistance until competent veterinary care is available. Properly applied first aid can save your pet’s life, reduce recovery time and be the difference between temporary disability and lifelong disability. This program concentrates on basic first aid care. It is not intended to replace veterinary care, but rather to instruct the pet owner on how to save a pet’s life during an emergency or to minimize a pet’s trauma.

Small Group or 1:1 Private Class CPR/First Aid/AED Need immediate certification? I will work with you to set up a a small group class or a 1:1 for ASHI CPR/ First Aid Community or other classes. The cost for any group under 5 people and including 1:1 is the class fee listed below plus a travel fee of $10.00-$20.00 depending on the distance, this includes certification cards with digital books.
